HOUSTON, Texas, October 31, 2026 – 23.5 Strategies, an independent strategy and commercial advisory firm, announced today that its Founder and Managing Partner, Bryan Kaus, will participate as a panelist at the 2026 SAF North America Congress, taking place November 4–6 at the Marriott Marquis Houston.

Kaus will join industry representatives on November 5 for “From Refinery to Runway: Building a SAF Logistics System Fit for Scale,” a discussion examining the infrastructure, commercial relationships and operational capabilities necessary to support the growing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) market.

The panel will explore how existing refining, terminal, pipeline, transportation and airport infrastructure can support SAF deployment, as well as the commercial and logistical challenges associated with integrating emerging fuels into established aviation supply chains.

“Scaling sustainable aviation fuel requires more than production capacity,” said Kaus. “It requires a reliable, economically viable system that connects producers with customers. That means understanding where existing infrastructure can be leveraged, where investment is warranted, and how participants across the value chain can work together to deliver fuel consistently and competitively.”

Kaus brings nearly two decades of experience across conventional and renewable energy, including commercial strategy, fuels supply and logistics, business development, capital allocation and operational transformation. His previous roles with Phillips 66, ConocoPhillips and Neste provide a perspective spanning established petroleum infrastructure and emerging renewable fuels markets.

The discussion will be moderated by Paul Hartman, Director of Midstream Policy at the American Petroleum Institute, and will feature representatives from aviation, infrastructure and energy-related organizations.

The SAF North America Congress convenes participants across the aviation energy value chain, including airlines, refiners, renewable fuel producers, infrastructure providers, investors and policymakers, to examine the commercial and technical requirements for continued industry development.
